Cursed

By Sushant Yadav

Being greedy means your thirst is never going to be satisfied. You are allergic to diminutive. You want more and more. I am Tembo, from a village named Valia. I am a vendor, importing goods from other towns and selling them in mine. I usually went to Miten to buy goods and sell them in my village. This tale is about my weekly journey to Miten. I am old enough, but the greediness in me never died. I am the wealthiest vendor in my village, but I want more. To reach Miten, one should pass through a massive, dense forest. I'd been to Miten many times before, but that day was unlike any other. As I said, I was old and rich, and it was time to rest and enjoy the remaining days. But my greed always won, and I was forced to travel for more pesos.

#

That day was the worst day of my life, and I regret it now. Why did I go that day? I left the house in the morning and went with my wagon. Usually, I always returned until dawn, but that day was not in my favor. When I was in the middle of the forest, I knew the coming days would get more challenging. My horse was feeling ill and could not hold the wagon's weight. But without caring for it, I made it to push out of the forest. The horse took a lot of time. Therefore, I knew we were not going home that day. It was getting darker. We were just about to exit the forest, and my eyes fell on the left side of the woods. It was a small roadside food hut. I had traveled many times, but I had never seen that hut. I was hungry, so I stopped my horse and went into the house. I expected it to be crowded, but the owner was all alone. He was silent, dressed in a long sack, and had strange eyes and a long, thick white beard. I asked him how long it had been since he established this hut. He replied that it was the first day with a suspicious smile. I asked for supper and had it. I headed to Miten and spent my night in a brothel. The following day, I woke up and gathered my supplies and goods. My horse was in better condition, so it was time to leave Miten. Before I started my journey, I stopped by the hut, had a heavy meal, and provided my horse with fair feed. I noticed the house was still empty.

#

While I was having my lunch, the man arrived and asked, "Have you seen the ancient ruin in the middle of the forest?"

I knew what he was talking about. Long ago, when the forest was not there. There stood a magnificent castle. It was in the center, where the forest now stands. The palace was demolished in my early teens. A courageous king ruled the court. One day, he was attacked by another leader. I had heard that the king had been killed. After the king's death, the attacker burned the castle with the king, his family, and enslaved people inside. It was the most horrific event of that age. Later, the court turned into a ruin. I replied to the man positively. I told him that I travel a lot through the forest, and this was not my first time here.

He laughed and murmured, "You have seen the ruin, but you have never seen the black nature of that palace."

I heard it and laughed inside. I left the hut, and we resumed our journey again. My horse looked healthier than yesterday, and I thought it would not take long enough to reach home. But when I got to the forest's center, I noticed my horse breathing heavily. So, I stopped, separated him from the wagon, and left him for a while to rest. But his condition was getting worse. I fed it with water and food and made it rest. The day was falling into the lap of darkness. I was sure we were not going to make it. I saw the ruin a little far from that spot. I had my horse attached to the wagon and drew it slowly to the ruin. Looking at the condition of my horse, I thought it would die. I detached the wagon and left it free of its load just at the side of the ruin. It was dark, and I was in the middle of a dense forest. I thought for a while and concluded that I needed to spend the night here.

The forest is more deadly at night, and the forest's animals can harm me if I travel at night, and the condition of my horse is also worse. So, I arranged for a fire. I took my horse near the fire and used my mat from the wagon to sleep on. I also had my knife for safety. My horse was sniffing continuously. I grabbed its head and gently touched it till it fell asleep. I was tired, and my body was asking for a nap. I listened to it and went into a deep sleep.

#

It was midnight, and I heard someone beating a drum and hitting the bell. I was amazed at who would be doing that in the middle of the forest. I opened my eyes and looked around to see what was going on. I saw a group of people moving in a line from the inner ruin. The first two individuals were striking the drum and ringing the bell. They were going somewhere. I stood up and tried to get closer. I saw four people carrying a dead body. The body was carved with gold and silver. I was curious about where they were going. I watched them for a while. The rest of the crowd followed them. I noticed there was something wrong with them. The people were walking in an unusual form. They were like the living dead to me. I was scared, and I was shivering in fear. But at the same time, I was curious to know where they were going with the dead body, which was covered in gold and silver. I didn't want to follow them, but my greediness made me do so. I followed them quietly and found that they were moving towards the river. I was silently hiding in the bush and watching all the circumstances. I saw the people keep the body down in the river. And they left the body in the water and returned to the ruin. I wondered why they had left it in the water. But I didn't have the internal strength to check that. So, I went back to my spot and tried to sleep. But the whole night, I had the same vision repeatedly. I was in deep fear about the things I had seen that night.

#

The following day, I thought everything was fine, and I wanted to reach home as soon as possible after that horrible night. I checked on my horse and how he was doing. He was all right, so I attached him to the wagon and tried to leave that place. We continued our journey, and just about mid-day, we were about to exit the forest. I was murmuring that I would never again arrive at Miten. I was concentrating on the pitch-black mud road when I heard a voice calling to me.

I saw the hut man screaming at me, "You came so fast."

I was thrilled and got goosebumps. I was in shock for a while. I stopped the wagon and went to that hut.

The man said, "You came so fast."

I replied sadly and fearfully, "I was never home."

I told him everything that had happened to me in the forest.

He calmed me and said, "You are cursed now because you saw the ritual of that dead king." So, you are cursed. The body was none other than the king. I had heard the story that he was never buried, and he was burned in the castle. Because he practiced Islam, his spirit desired to be buried according to Islamic rituals. So, his slaves always made his body pure by getting it into the water to be buried. "But the black spirits cannot bury him."

I asked, "What do I do to break my curse?"

He replied, "You need to bury the king's body to be free from the curse."

Now I had trouble, but I had to deal with it. It was getting darker, so I went to the same brothel and spent my night there.

#

The following day, I fed my horse and prepared for my departure. I was curious to know if the things the man said were authentic or a terrific joke. I just wanted to go home. That day I didn't even stop in the man's hut. I just continued home. Everything was going as I had expected. But time intervened once more. My horse was feeling sick again. He was unable to carry the load. I tried to run without the wagon, but the horse could not bear my load. When I tried to sit on the back of the horse, it would sit on the ground. I noticed the area. It was the same spot as yesterday. I remembered what the hut man had said.

#

Now I have proof that I am cursed. I was dismayed, but I gathered my courage and was going to break the curse. I did it the same way as the night before. At midnight, I heard the same sounds and saw the people. It was a horrific and terrifying situation for me. I followed them the same way and hid in the bush till the people returned. After they went, I came out of the bush and went to the side of the river. I went into the river searching for the body. The water was agitating me. I summoned my strength and courage and extracted the king's body from the water.

The body was decayed and rotten. His face was pale yellow, and worms were moving in his mouth. He had an unusually long white beard. Looking at the beard, I felt like I had seen this type of beard on someone else too. But there was no time to recall, so I just focused on my job. I just took out his body. Because of the gold clothes he wore, his body shone. But I just carried it out to break my curse. With my bare hand, I silently dug a ditch in the ground. I was digging and, at the same time, watching if that half-dead was coming. I was so frightened. I dug to the exact size of the body and pushed the body into the ditch. I was about to pour the soil in, but I noticed a mystic pearl ring on his finger. His whole body was covered with gold, and his fingers with diamonds, but my eyes only saw the mystic ring. I was afraid, but my gluttony woke up, and I hurriedly took that ring out and wore it. After wearing it, I filled the ditch with soil and hurried to my spot.

#

While running to my spot, I felt someone had caught my hand from the back. I stopped and tried to resist and escape, but I couldn't. It was a man; I saw his face. He had a long thick white beard. It was the same man who was in the hut all the time.

With a terrific laugh, he said, "You are going to die; you weren't told to take anything from my body."

I asked for forgiveness; I tried to be free and run, but all my trials were in vain. I had made up my mind that I was going to die. I was frightened and shivering in terror. The two men came and caught both my hands, and the old man took his shining sword out.

He said, "I am going to behead you as a punishment for disrespecting my command."

I was crying for forgiveness. My eyes get shut with fear. Lastly, I heard a slice.

#

I woke up. I was lying on the mat. My horse was near me. I stood up, and it was morning. My whole body was wet because of sweat. I recalled the entire thing. I thought it was just a bad, horrifying dream. I laughed and jumped into a craze. I just wanted to go home. My horse was in good shape. I attached the wagon and left that place. When I was leaving, I just took a glance at the ruins. But no ruins were there. I was shocked and thought it might be a hallucination. We traveled out of the forest. This time there was no hut and no older man. I was about to reach my house. I was a lot happier than ever to be home. I detached the wagon from my horse, left it freely, and kissed it. I was blessed.

I was hungry, so I asked for food from my wife.

She brought me up and asked, "Why didn't you appear yesterday?"

I thought I had been out of my house for three days, but I was just one day out. I ate my food and told her everything.

She said, "I just had some kind of bad vision because there is no ruin in the middle of the forest."

I thought the same, and I slept for a while. I woke up because I remembered something; I slept on the mat in the forest for a while in the middle of the day. Just on the day, I was supposed to arrive. I never slept in a brothel or went to the man's hut; there was no ruin. Thinking about these things over and over again gave me a headache. I asked for water from my wife. She brought me a glass of water. I noticed something on my finger as I was about to drink. It caused me to be disturbed and hanged, and it was the mystic pearl ring.

Agony

By Sushant Yadav

Ting!! Ting!!

Ting!! Ting!!

It was my alarm. I had a little pain in the back of my head. I saw through the window, nature was emerging with radiant sunlight. I saw the clock; it was 7:16. I was free today. I left the bed and went to the restroom.

Arya!! Aryaaaaa!!

I heard my mom yelling at me to have breakfast. I went up ahead. The days had been going as usual for the past 9000 days. Nothing was different. After breakfast, I went straight to bed. I picked up my phone and began to scroll through the Facebook wall. Each post from my friends were divine. In the posts, everyone seemed to be happy and feverish.

#

My phone rang after a while; it was a call from a friend. I picked up and talked with him. They had made a plan for an outing. I was never a social guy, nor was I ever fond of going on an expedition, but I said yes. I dressed up and went.

I was standing all alone and waiting for them. While standing there, I saw my shoes were so dirty. I asked myself why I would wear those pairs; I didn't see while wearing them. I stacked them, but it didn't get any better. I fell to my knees and sat there for a while. It was a very unusual day. The road was never that quiet before. It was all chill and silent. I saw two cockroaches approaching my feet. I wanted to kill them, but I noticed they were in metamorphosis, so I left them.

#

The couple appeared out of nowhere. They came and stood in front of me. I stood in my place, and we were just about to move, but my phone fell. I was about to pick up my phone. I saw that the cockroach's head were pissed off, and they were dead. I had so many unusual feelings watching that. I wanted to move home, but they made me continue. We walked screaming, joking about each other, and laughing. That was fun.

But something strange was also knocking on my head. We were about to reach our intended place, but I was surprised to not see anyone else along the way. It was bizarre. We three were all alone. We got there. We were up on a bridge. The view was mesmerizing, and its elegance penetrated my eyes. We went still and mute. We were enjoying the captivating acquisitiveness of nature. The greenery, fluid motion, and birds were all so perfect. I felt so light, enlightened from the innermost cellular atoms, detached from worldly expectations and pressure. I got to know one thing that day. Life is more or less like the river. First, you regret why you don't know to swim. But when you can swim, you get far from the river.

All of these thoughts were flooding my mind one after the other. The religious, relations, works, achievements, connections, likes, and dislikes all merged in my mind. I just began to feel such a dense pain in my head. I shouted, screamed, cried, and fell, but they didn't listen. They were still. The cloud began to change its appearance. It began to be darker and denser, and it seemed like it would fall apart. The bridge started to move haphazardly. The water from downstream floated in the air as if gravity had never existed on Earth. I hadn't felt like that before. My head pain was getting worse. I heard a loud siren and thought it might be the ambulance. I was lying down, and my hands were on my head, pressing it because of pain. I opened my eyes for a while and saw those two were still and quiet, as if nothing were happening. I stood up with the pain and moved my eyes to both sides of the bridge, but there was no ambulance. I went to my friends and tried to push them with my hands. I screamed at them to run from the bridge because nature was shrinking and falling apart. I got closer and touched them.

As soon as I touched them, they began to stare at me. I got thrilled and wanted to leave the bridge. But the pain in my head grew more and more. The last thing I saw was the water in the air turning blood red. I heard tingling sounds filling my ears and shouting from every side.

A lot of murmuring sounds were creating a disturbance. My pain grew much worse than it had before. My head started falling apart from my body, and it lastly blew.

#

I woke up hurriedly and saw the clock; it was 7:16. Everything was happening in fast motion. I guess it was a dream. I noticed that my house was on fire. A furious bundle of heat strokes and radiation surrounded my body. The smoke began to rush inside my brain. I heard the siren, and I fainted.

#

I woke up in the hospital. I saw the doctor talking about me. I called them. They were just by my side, but they didn't listen. I tried to move my eyes, but I couldn't. It was so strange. They asked me how I felt. I don't know why I said that.

I said, "Each day, I am losing expectations from others. Each day, I am losing interest in all things. Each day, I go dark. I smell like a dead fish."

A Smoking Man
Sushant Yadav

It was a noon night, a man after purchasing a cigarette moved down the road. It was his alone time. He left his room for a while. The night was drizzling and the road was sparkling. He was all alone. No one was with him. He was silent but a lot of things were messing his mind. It was pure silence. He kept his hand in the pocket and took out the lighter. He kept the cigarette in his mouth, lit it and started smoking. He was hearing the sound of rain dropping and striking the concrete street. The air was swiftly blowing and the sound of air was striking his ears. He was wearing a woolen thick jacket though his hand and leg were slivering with cold. It was all pitch dark and black.

#

He noticed a truck was approaching towards him. He wanted to move from the middle of the street but he wasn’t able to take a single step. He was frozen. The truck was approaching furiously. He was able to see the truck hitting the thick and dense air molecules and making its way. It was moving to him closer than before second after seconds but nonetheless he was in the middle. He was terrified, worried and he closed his eyes to face the death. He let the death enroll him. The truck hit him and went.

#

His eyes were still closed. He thought he was dead. He opened his eyes and looked from bottom and touched his face. Everything was fine, he felt relieved for a while. The death has just embraced him for a moment but that was all enough. He heard a horn just behind him.

He turned his head and watched the happening scenario. The truck driver was asking for a cigarette from the shopkeeper. The driver took it and went. The back lights of the truck were red and he kept staring those light till it got blurred and lastly disappeared in the foggy wild. The only light source was a small blinking led at the electric pole at his side. The smoke coming from his nose and mouth was patching his eyes. His glazing eyes were shiny and bright with short sightedness. The cigarette was killing his heart and brain tissues. The nicotine from the cigarette rushed through his nervous system. He felt dizzy. He threw the butt and pressed it with his foot and went to his room.

(kkkkkkkrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)

.

.

.

He opened the room.

.

.

.

His eyes went wide and he was shocked.

#

He saw a hanging body rotating slowing with the fan. He couldn’t believe what has happened. The fan was still rotating in circular motion. When the fan with the body moved towards him. A wilderness of adrenaline dashed throughout his inner cores, whipping up his sensory systems to provoke goosebumps all across his body. He saw something. It was his body hanging to the fan. He cried, screamed and sat down on the floor all alone. The whole house was full of peoples but nobody listened his grief screams.

How humans came in existence?

By Sushant Yadav

Hey guys,

Today i will present my views on how humans were originated. So, go on....

Origin of human kind is still unknown and holds same point of depth till now. None of the theories are 100% remarkable and accepted. Though one theory is accepted the most, the evolution one. This theory explain how humans were evolved from apes. The apes, godfather of human kinds. But I totally discard this theory because some sorts of points consider it to be rejected. If apes were our ancestor, then why don’t they evolve now? Some will answer it as because they aren’t able to adopt our environmental circumstances. Since, two plus two make four this is universal truth but there is still chances that two plus two makes five though there is little chances but there is. So let it be granted that today apes can’t adopt the environmental state so they are not evolving. But can anyone tell that where the five situation goes. It is primarily neglected but if we are taking it to be 100% precise then we should be able to find the error and correct it. If those apes were our ancestor then they could show some sort of repeated evolutional process. But now days those apes are lacking those factors. Some might tell atavism can be there evolutionary proof that we are evolved from apes. But biology says that atavism is only due to the gene mutational errors. So from where we the human kind came in existence.

#

I think the answer is in our daily research files. Alien is a word whose meaning is some kind of unknown or extra terrestrial beings. Can’t they could be our ancestors? There are millions of galaxies, billions of stars, trillions of planets in our universe. But we regard ourself to be the most developed and most evolved species. Can’t there could be some more species who are more superior than us. Since there are about 10,000 of planets in our galaxy only where the life can be possible. So can’t those planets have alien life sustaining. Can be possible right. I don’t say that alien were our ancestor but I conclude that we will be evolved into alien one day. I strongly say that the alien are the ancestor and they will be our evolved generation. This is making you all altered about my theory but if we think deeply it can be true. Lets first deal with the future one. Since the human race is in the path of developmental phase in fundamental and primal technologies, human race is running to achieve the most developed technologies. The social state of human kind is gradually decreasing day by day. Peoples are being far from each other. They are active only in social platforms digitally. So one day a day will come when one will be only focused in digital machineries and utilities. At that the humans will be active only in front of bright screens. Due to this we the human race will began to evolve. Our fingers will be more long than usual due to its rapid use. Our skin will be hairless, moist and soft. We will lose hair from our various part. Our head will enlarge due to its gradual use. Our eye will be more evolved. We will have an enlarged retina. At that time we will be similar with the aliens physically as well as developmentally. Since, we will have a more developed and modern technologies. One will only use a in-vitro fertilization to have baby. At that world we will have residence to more planets in our galaxies. Can be on moon, on mars or on Jupiter. We will be able to achieve light speed in our spacecraft. So one day we will have those days and we will be a evolved species from Homo sapiens sapiens to something Homo _ _ _ _ _ _.

#

Now we come to next theory that how aliens are our ancestors. Though you will regret after reading this but I truly want you to read this. So go on. I believe that we were not evolved from any alien species but rather we are just being farmed on earth. Did your mind swinged? Are you saying that I am mad? Just go on you will believe in me surely. There are eight planets in our solar system but the living like condition is achieved on earth only why not on Venus, why not on mars. Nobody knows even far away from our galaxies there are not the same planet like earth. Don’t this strike your mind that it is not just a condition but this condition is brought by those alien species. So that they could farm us on the earth surface. In human body, many organs and materials are impossible to create artificially. Such as blood, DNA, brain. The aliens just came to earth and created the artificial environment so that human could survive which today we regard as natural one. They spergs out our humans DNA in that environment and we are now right here. They are farming us for about 10,000 years and when the human population will exceed to the optimum level when the earth is in capable to hold us. Then those alien will arrive with their ships and take us to there own factories to use us as a raw materials to run their business. For instance, we humans keep poultry for two months in a farm and after they get well matured we harvest them for there meat to sell in the market to run our business. Similarly, those aliens species are farming us on earth surface and earth is just a farm and they are farmers. They will abduct us when right time will come.

#

Though if the earth is created naturally, I think the aliens were those who killed those dinosaur and ended the dinosaur age and cultivated us on earth. Did you now believed in my theory that how we humans were originated and what will be our future.

Don’t be serious that we are going to die in incoming future. We surely are but there is a lot, might be myriad years from now, when the human kind will merged to its fore fore fore mother i.e., Star dust.

##

Note: This is just a frictional theory and my views on human kinds. So if you want to believe then believe it neither don’t 😊😊.
